How You Can Participate

We are always looking for children to bless with a gift from Ashley's Room. Are you a nurse, a social worker, or a child life specialist? Do you work in or have connections within your local hospital? Has your child been a patient in a facility you believe would like to be a recipient of the gifts from Ashley's Room?

If you would like to nominate a Pediatric or Neonatal Unit to be considered to recieve our next delivery of gifts, please contact us. Any connections you have with the nursing staff or Child Life Department will be helpful in allowing us to establish a relationship with their program.

We also consider individual nominations. If you know of a chronically ill child who is currently admitted to a hospital, please nominate them to be a recipient of Ashley's Room. It would be our privelage to gift them in memory of our Ashley Kate.

Its easy to make a nomination. Just go to our ABOUT US tab and fill in the contact us information. In the message box provide us a contact name, a phone number and any other information that would help us make the connection to your nomination.

Are you looking for a way to be involved? Would your family like to be more hands on with Ashley's Room? Do you have a group who is looking for a cause to support this holiday season? For our supporters who would like to really get involved, we invite you to organize a PILLOW PET DRIVE in your community.

A PILLOW PET DRIVE is a fun and easy way for kids of all ages to become a part of Ashley's Room!!! Individuals, families, Sunday school classes, athletic teams, cheerleading squads or absolutely anyone who would like to be a part of Ashley's Room can participate.

Here's How:

We will email you an official Ashley's Room flyer to help you get the word out about your event. You may make as many copies as you would like to help you advertise your drive.

Begin collecting new, unused, 11" or 16", with tag attached Pillow Pets. Anyone can donate to your drive. Teachers, neighbors, friends, and grandparents are just a few of the people you can share the opportunity with.

Once you have finished your drive, let us know here at Ashley's Room how many Pets you have collected and we will be more than happy to send you our Ashley's Room tags for each of your Pets.

Arrange to deliver to your local hospital by contacting their Child Life Department or Pediatric nursing staff.

Don't forget to take pictures! Share with us here at Ashley's Room any pictures of your family or group along with your collected Pillow Pets and we will add them to the website.

It is through the generous donations of our supporters that Ashley's Room is able to be a blessing to others. There are several ways you can choose to donate.

Donations can be sent directly to us here at Ashley's Room by check or money order. Simply make them payable to Ashley's Room. You may send them to the address listed below.

You may also choose to make a donation through PayPal by clicking on the Donate tab below. A receipt will be emailed to you.

We also accept donations of new, unused, tag attached, Pillow Pets in either the 11 inch or 16 inch size. You may send them to the address listed below.

All donations made to Ashley's Room go directly to the purchasing, packaging, shipping and delivering of the gifts from Ashley's Room. We are grateful for each and every donation made in any amount.

Unable to give your financial support at this time? We would welcome your support through prayer. We would love for you to partner with us in praying for each child who will receive a gift from Ashley's Room. Your sincere prayers for us as we continue our work from Ashley's Room would mean so very much to our hearts. We miss her every moment of every day.
